My career began as a software developer at Closeone Technology. I worked on C#.NET-based solutions, including grocery billing and cooperative management. I also contributed to an asset management system for SAARC Nepal.
Later, at Engineering Academy of Science and Technology, I worked as a software developer. I also taught C# and Java.
This experience strengthened my passion for teaching. It motivated me to join the faculty at Nagarjuna College of IT, Asian College, Prime College, and other institutions.
My interest in teaching started in school when I enjoyed helping classmates solve problems, especially in mathematics. During my BIM studies, I regularly assisted peers with programming and found satisfaction in simplifying complex concepts. While working as a software developer and C# tutor, I formally entered teaching. Sharing knowledge and helping students learn has always been fulfilling and continues to motivate me.

I have been associated with Prime College for nearly ten years. The experience has been highly rewarding. The strong teacher-student relationship and friendly environment stand out. Active student clubs also make the college special.
Beyond academics, I enjoy participating in events. These activities include Sports Gala, Food Fest, and storytelling programs. The college supports student-led initiatives and welcomes broad participation. Active involvement has enriched my practical skills and teamwork. It also helps me build confidence.
Additionally, the supportive faculty community has shaped my journey. Memorable experiences and a student-friendly atmosphere have supported my growth. This has made my time at Prime College professionally and personally fulfilling. These elements continue to guide my future goals. I remain grateful for the opportunities here.
As faculty, I enjoy the constant exchange of knowledge that comes with teaching. Interacting with students helps me understand their learning patterns and guide them toward correct concepts. Moreover, this is especially true in programming, where changes happen rapidly. Teaching is a two-way process, and I also learn from students in technology. This interaction keeps learning meaningful and enriching.
One of the biggest changes is the shift from teacher-centered to learner-centered education, a transformation that reshapes classroom roles and expectations for the faculty. Previously, teachers were the main source of knowledge, but today information is easily accessible through technology and AI.
As a result, teachers now act more as facilitators who help students think critically, solve problems, and apply knowledge effectively in diverse real-world settings. While AI provides information, human guidance, mentorship, and experience remain essential for students’ growth and for sustaining meaningful learning outcomes.
For the faculty, I apply an interactive and practical teaching approach. I demonstrate concepts through live coding and real-time examples, and I encourage students to practice via lab exercises. Additionally, I use project-based learning, guiding students through complete projects involving databases, backend development, and application features. Presentations on emerging technologies further help students stay updated and industry-ready.
The most rewarding aspect of teaching is the opportunity to positively influence students’ lives. Daily interactions keep me engaged and motivated, as a member of the faculty, while seeing students grow and succeed brings immense satisfaction. The respect, appreciation, and gratitude expressed by former students years later are the greatest rewards. They are a lasting reminder of the impact of education.

Students should embrace AI and digital tools as learning aids; however, they should not become dependent on them. True learning comes from critical thinking, practice, and conceptual understanding.
The faculty should continue adopting modern technologies such as AI-based learning systems and LMS platforms to enhance education.
