Bachelor of Science in the Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc. CSIT) is a four-year (eight-semester) degree program affiliated to Tribhuvan University. The program is comprised of computer science, information technology, and allied courses of 126 credit hours.
To meet the demand for high technology applications development, the program includes a number of elective courses, practicals, project work, and internships in addition to the foundation and core courses in computer science and information technology. The program develops the underlying principles of both computer science and information technology and shows how these principles can be applied to solve real-world problems.
The main objective of BSc. CSIT program is to provide students with intensive knowledge and skill in different areas of computer science and information technology including design, theory, programming, and application of computer system.
