In the dynamic realm of sustainable development, the BBA 7th-semester students at Prime College showcased their innovative project centered around Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Under the guidance of Professor Satyendra, the project challenged students to conceptualize a sustainable city, emphasizing the interconnected principles of people, profit, and the planet.
The presentation unfolded a vision of a city that not only harmonizes with nature but also thrives economically and socially, embodying the essence of sustainable development. The students approached the project with a holistic perspective, addressing key aspects that impact the city’s viability in the long run.
People: Prioritizing the well-being of the residents, the proposed city design focused on creating a community-centric environment. Incorporating green spaces, pedestrian-friendly zones, and state-of-the-art healthcare and educational facilities, the students envisioned a city that fosters inclusivity, health, and a high quality of life for its inhabitants.
Profit: Recognizing the importance of economic sustainability, the project integrated innovative business models and technologies. From renewable energy sources to sustainable agriculture, the students proposed solutions that not only generate profit but do so in an environmentally conscious and ethical manner. The emphasis was on creating a resilient and adaptive economic system that thrives without compromising the well-being of the planet.
