Prime College Hosts Student Club Reformation Program: A Celebration of Leadership and Community

On 31st Bhadra 2081, Prime College organized its eagerly awaited Student Club Reformation Program, an annual event that highlights the college’s commitment to encouraging personal growth, leadership, and community involvement.

Co-hosted by Sumina Maharjan and Minasha Maharjan, the event emphasized the importance of engaging in activities outside of academics. Student clubs provide students with the chance to explore new interests, develop leadership skills, and collaborate with others. The reformation program was not just a formal occasion—it was a celebration of teamwork, creativity, and a strong sense of community that these clubs foster.

Continuing the Tradition: Introduced just last year, the Student Club Reformation Award has quickly become a valued tradition at Prime College. This year’s program featured four major award categories: Best Emerging Student Leadership Award, Best Student Club Event Award, Best Student Club Award, and Best Club President of 2081. The seminar hall was full of energy as students from various clubs and faculty members gathered for the occasion.

Outgoing club presidents, including Yuki Maharjan (Prime Cultural Club), Prabin Lama (Prime Sports Club), Prateek Ratna Tuladhar (Prime SIC), Supriya Thapa Bhujel (Prime IT Club), Prabesh Adhikari (Prime EMC), and Srijal Shrestha- Vice President (Prime Esports Hub), shared heartfelt speeches about their experiences before handing over responsibilities to the newly appointed executives.

Recognizing Excellence: The excitement reached its peak with the Prime Student Club Achiever Awards, where individual students and clubs were honored for their exceptional contributions throughout the year. The room buzzed with anticipation as the winners were announced:

  • The Best Emerging Student Leadership Award was presented to Pranish Maharjan from Prime EMC, in recognition of his outstanding growth and leadership.
  • The Best Student Club Event Award went to the Prime Carnival, organized byPrime Flair Club, Prime EMC, Prime Esports Hub, an energetic and successful event that brought together the college community.
  • The Best Student Club Award was claimed by the Prime IT Club, which made a significant impact through its innovative activities and strong student engagement.
  • Finally, the Best Club President of 2081 Award was awarded to Prabesh Adhikari, president of Prime EMC, for his dedicated leadership and commitment to his club’s mission.

Each winner expressed their gratitude and excitement, sharing their hopes for continuing to enhance the student experience at Prime College.

Closing the Celebration: The event concluded with a group photo session, featuring outgoing and incoming club leaders alongside faculty members. This marked the successful conclusion of another year of student leadership at Prime College, filled with inspiration, teamwork, and a renewed sense of purpose for the future.
