The Shrijay Memorial ICT Cup 2025: A Celebration of Teamwork, Legacy, and Community | Prime IT Club

The Shrijay Memorial ICT Cup 2025 was more than just a futsal tournament—it was a celebration of camaraderie, collaboration, and the enduring spirit of healthy competition. Organized by Prime IT Club, a student-led initiative of Prime College, this event was our student’s heartfelt tribute to Mr. Shrijay Tuladhar, late past president of Prime IT Club, whose vision continues to inspire all. Held on January 12 and 19, 2025, at United Futsal, Bafal, the tournament brought together 16 IT companies from across Kathmandu. With the motto “Break from Tech,” the event provided participants an opportunity to step away from the demands of their screens and connect in a more personal and active way.

A Journey of Passion and Sportsmanship
From the first whistle to the final match, the energy was electric. The knockout format kept every moment thrilling, as teams gave it their all to secure a place in the finals.

The grand finale was an unforgettable showdown between Code Himalaya and defending champions CloudFactory. With skill, strategy, and teamwork, Code Himalaya emerged victorious, defeating CloudFactory with an impressive 4-0 win.

The triumph marked a new chapter in the tournament’s legacy. Individual brilliance also stood out. Shankar Tamrakar from Code Himalaya earned the Best Goalkeeper award for his incredible saves, while Sanam Maharjan, also from Code Himalaya, claimed the Top Scorer title with an extraordinary 10 goals throughout the tournament.
