Achievement: First runner up in National Green College Business Idea Competition
Poshan is an online store that offers daily grocery items at the lowest prices. The concept of
“Poshan” was born when a group of students from Prime College participated in the National
Green College Business Idea Competition to address food waste management. Poshan aims to
rescue surplus food from vegetable markets and stores, sell it directly through the online store, or
upcycle it into new products, giving the food a second life and selling it to customers. The
primary goal of Poshan is to ensure that all surplus food is utilized.
