Project Description: In contemporary urban societies, one common issue is the lack of timely and reliable information regarding garbage collection schedules. Residents often face challenges such as not knowing when their garbage will be collected or experiencing delays without prior notice. This leads to inconvenience, missed collections, and sometimes, improper disposal due to uncertainty.
Proposed Solution: Our solution is to develop a mobile app that provides residents with real-time updates and notifications about garbage collection schedules. Through GPS tracking of garbage trucks, the app will inform users of the truck’s current location and estimated arrival time. Users can set reminders, report issues like missed collections, and receive alerts about service changes or delays. This app aims to enhance efficiency in waste management, improve community cleanliness, and empower residents by offering transparency and engagement in urban services.
Objective: By addressing these challenges, the app aims to streamline garbage collection processes, reduce environmental impacts from improper waste disposal, and foster a more informed and engaged community around sustainable urban living practices.
